Ultrarunner Imo Boddy sets female record on British Three Peaks, covering 700 km and 10,000 m elevation

The Three Peaks World Record

Imo Boddy | 700km Ultra Running Documentary

On May 15th, 2024, Imo Boddy set out on an extraordinary mission: to conquer the British Three Peaks — Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon — and run every kilometer between them. It was a challenge few would dare to attempt: nearly 700 km of continuous running paired with more than 10,000 meters of elevation.

But Imo wasn’t there to simply endure the journey. She was there to make history.

Across six grueling days, through unpredictable weather, aching legs, and the mental battles that come with pushing your body to its limits, Imo kept moving. Step by step. Peak by peak. Road by road. Her determination never wavered.

And on the final day, she crossed the finish line having become the fastest female ever to complete the Three Peaks challenge — 6 days, 5 hours, and 43 minutes of relentless grit and heart.

Her journey wasn’t just an athletic achievement; it was a story of resilience, ambition, and the power of choosing not to quit when everything hurts.

This remarkable feat was captured through the lens of Matt Stone and brought to life in the edit by Matt Evans — documenting not just the miles, but the emotion, the struggle, and the triumph that defined Imo’s adventure.

Imo Boddy didn’t just set a record.
She expanded the boundaries of what we believe is possible.
